Ms. Anukriti Agarwal is a research scholar and teacher from India. She completed her M.Phil from the University of Delhi in 2017 and submitted her dissertation titled, “Envisioning Multilingual Education in Delhi Classrooms”. Her research explored the loopholes in educational institutions and the need for embracing the multilingual paradigm as conscious citizens in terms of the medium of education.

She worked with the University of Virginia under Dr. Geeta Patel in India for the Study Abroad Program as a Teacher Assistant and Program Coordinator facilitating classes and lodging for American undergraduate students, and acquainted them with the culture of a foreign land through language and landscape. She has simultaneously worked with the social sector in the capacity of an educator with organizations that focused on quality education for underprivileged students. She has also worked with the Shiv Nadar School- Gurgaon, as an English teacher and taught middle school students, which proved to be an enthralling and enriching experience for her as a person and instructor. Her belongingness to the Hindi heartland of India have substantiated her research and interests. She intends to explore the multiplicity of languages through wide ranging lenses and strongly believes in supporting diversity.

As a Fulbright Foreign Language Teaching Assistant, Ms. Agarwal intends to bridge the gap among cultures and languages by exploring the gradations caused by globalization.
