Hiba Ahmed

Hiba Ahmed is a research scholar and assistant professor in the Department of English at the University of Delhi. Her research revolves around the Indian Muslims’ ever changing identity in the Indian subcontinent and the conflicts arising in an increasingly hostile political and social landscape.

As a cultural ambassador and language teacher of Hindi at Yale University, she hopes to enhance her understanding of various cultures and identities from all over the world, while acting as a window into the diversity of her own country. During the Fulbright FLTA program she plans to highlight the fluidity of cultures, traditions and languages, all of which seem to flow seamlessly to form her own personhood.
