Sushant Singh is South Asian Studies Council Visiting Fellow. He teaches a course (SAST 345, National Security in India in the Twenty-first Century) here at Yale this semester. He was the Deputy Editor of The Indian Express newspaper in India where he has been awarded the Ramnath Goenka Award for Excellence in Journalism. He reported on national security, strategic affairs, higher judiciary, and functioning democratic institutions. A former military officer, he has served with the United Nations in Cote d’Ivoire. He is the author of Mission Overseas: Daring Operations by the Indian Military and the co-author of Note by Note: The India Story 1947-2017.
We will have a hybrid arrangement. A live broadcast via Zoom and Facebook online, and an in-person attendance for Yale faculty and students ONLY in Room 202, Luce Hall. The room has a limited capacity and the access will be on a first come first serve basis. Thank you for your understanding.
